Top Five Favorite Phi Sig Shirts

I know my posts lately have been kind of over-the-top sratty but this is (probably) the last one for a while--promise!!! Inspired by Hannah from The Pink and Green Prep and the fact that we just got a really cool new PR shirt I wanted to post my top 5 favorite Greek life shirts I have received so far.

 Here we go:

1. Our PR shirt for Spring recruitment this year! Loved the cotton candy colors (definitely helped to fake a tan!)

2. The Cinco de Drinko shirt from a few years ago.

3. These are the ones we just got today! So different from Phi Sig's usual style but so cool. I can't wait to it with high-waisted jean shorts, white shorts, or black skinny jeans. I also think this is a really cool style of shirt.

4. This is a super old shirt that I received in one of my big/little baskets last year. It kind of only looks good when you're tan but that means its only for special occasions:)

5. I am absolutely obsessed with everything there is about this shirt. It was last year's Cinco de Drinko shirt. I accidentally ripped it earlier this weekend and I am actually so upset about it :(

Phi Sig in the Spring

Sorry for the lack of posting! It always somehow surprises me how crazy the last couple weeks of school can be. I've been super busy with getting ready for finals, Greek events, and formal! This weekend was Spring Formal and Paddle/Letter. Spring Formal was really fun, Tycho came up from Binghamton and I got to re-wear my Prom dress haha.

Me and Tycho!

I wish these pictures were better quality but the cord that attaches my camera to my computer is mysteriously out of commission, so iPhone pictures will have to cut it for the time being.

Today was Paddle/Letter where the big gives their little (or littles) their first pair of Phi Sig letters and the little(s) give their big a decorated wooden paddle with a note on the back. I've been looking forward to this for so long and I feel so lucky to have gotten two! They are so cute and I love that each one is so different and reflects different things I love about both of my littles! I immediately hung them up on my wall when I got home from the house.
My wall is looking extra sratty lately!

Big Little Reveal!!

It's finally reveal, I have been waiting so long to post this!!! I can finally say to the world how much I am in love with my perfect beautiful littles!!! Hiiiii Rylee and Alex welcome to THE BEST FAMILY in Phi Sig. Seriously you don't even know how much love you're getting yourselves into:).

Now I can finally brag about how beautiful these crafts I made were!
Emma, Me, Rylee, and Alex: The New and Improved Shambles! Note the embroidered Vineyard Vines whale reveal shirts... yeah we went there...
Emma and I had so much fun making these! I wish I had a better picture. But basically these beautiful boxes started out as plain white wooden boxes. We painted a chevron patter on the top and then got the babies' initials and painted those a solid color and hot glue gunned them on. Then I added the rhinestone details around them. Finally, I had been collecting so many cute cut out things from Glamour magazine this past year. I used some cute quotes and pictures that would make good clues for who we were--like the tiny monogram necklace in the bottom left corner of this picture!--and then collaged them on the inside bottom of the box. So fun too make and I think they turned out so well!!
Emma made one of these for me last year and I absolutely love it. Her's had pink rhinestones in it too. But these are so cute for hanging in your dorm room or decorating your desk at home with. Love!
Cute little leftover buckets from my 18th Birthday Brunch. I added some glitter initial stickers to the outside for personalization and then filled them with little goodies like candy and nail polish:)
Alex's "You and Me" basket! This is the 2nd basket and for Shambles, its always the best and most extravagent. You're supposed to fill it with all the little's favorite things (books, magazines, movies, candy, food, etc) and then some of your favorite things as well. It usually works out pretty well because me and Emma and now me and Alex and Rylee have a lot of the same favorite things!
Rylee's "You and Me" basket. I literally wanted to keep all of this stuff for myself--that's how you know you did a good job!
Rylee's "Going Out and Staying In" basket.

My corny basket clues. Haha rhyming isn't my strong suit... crafting (and picking littles!) is!
Couldn't be more obsessed with my new family members:)

Recruitment Weekend and Bid Day

Waiting for the baby Chis!
Sorry for the lack of posting! The past two weekends of recruitment were really intense. I barely left Phi Sig from Thursday to Sunday and I hadn't seen the outside world until I went to my 8am on Monday morning. Despite the lack of sleep and the bronchitis I got afterwards, it was so worth it!!!

Phi Sig is proud to have 63 new baby Chis! They're all so great and I cannot wait to get to know them better. I really loved being on the other side of recruitment and getting the chance to tell so many girls why Phi Sig is the best house on campus.

Spring semester last year feels like it was just days ago, it flew by so quickly with big/little, initiation, spring formal, and Cinco. It was literally the best semester EVER and I only hope that this Spring can come close to living up to it. I hope the Chis have just as much fun as I did.

For Bid Day on Sunday we all went to Wonderworks at Destiny USA. It was really cool--it reminded me a lot of the Boston Museum of Science. I really want to go back for the huge ropes course they have hanging over the rest of the mall. So weird that the new part of the mall has so many random attractions, but they all looked really cool and I would love to go back.

Getting a little weird well the babies are getting their bids!
Welcome home!

Formal

Formal is coming up! I am so excited to have an excuse to dress up, I thought formal events ended with Cotillion and Prom so I loved having a reason to visit Melissa at E.A. Davis to pick out a new Lily. I really wanted this one:

but wasn't sure that it would be appropriate for the occasion. I ended up with this; a perfect mix of Lily-classic and off-shore appropriateness.

I love the details on the back and the gold zipper matches perfectly with gold wedges.
