I know I say all the time that I am obsessed with songs, but this time it's no fleeting romance-- this is the real thing. I think this song might even have surpassed my love of "Before the Heartache Rolls in" by Hootie and the Blowfish. "Knocking on Heaven's Door" is that perfect blend of heartwrenching-ly sad but also a little hopeful. It's so heavy with nostalgia that I just picture a peaceful end-of-summer night when you finally have to go home and get back to real life. Ugh I just love it.
